Südatlantik
Der Südatlantik zwischen Südamerika und Afrika ist ein klassisches Transitrevier und wird meistens befahren, wenn man eines der beiden Kaps umfahren möchte. Grundsätzlich ist der Südatlantik durch selten vorkommende Stürme ein sicheres Fahrtenseglerrevier. Allerdings ist eine verlässliche Kartographie essentiell.
